What I work on

I handle export sales for our robot dog toy range — the TQR-02 and TQR-03M quadruped platforms, the TQR-05AI voice-controlled model, and the TQR-16 and TQR-18M 8-wheel stunt platforms. Day to day that means working with importers, distributors and retail buyers across North America and Europe on three things:

  • OEM and ODM programmes. From tooling and structural design through bilingual retail packaging, using the same injection moulding and assembly lines that build our own models.
  • Certification and documents. Making sure the CPC, ASTM F963-23, EN 71, CE-RED, RoHS 2.0 and UN 38.3 paperwork matches the exact configuration a buyer orders — and that it exists before the carton is booked, not after.
  • Getting orders out. Samples, carton data, loading plans and delivery scheduling, quoted EXW Shantou with door-to-door delivery available as an option.

Why I write these articles

Most of what buyers ask before a first order is not about our factory — it is about the rules around the product. Which battery chemistry suits a walking chassis. What a customs broker will ask for. Whether a certificate covers the capacity actually being ordered. Those questions get answered slowly and inconsistently across email threads, so I write them down once, properly.

Every figure in these articles comes from our own specification sheets and test reports. Where an article states an external rule — a transport provision, a safety standard — it links the source so you can check it yourself.

How our articles are produced

Articles on this blog are written and reviewed in house. I draft them from the specifications and reports of the models we actually build; the engineering and quality team checks any claim about materials, battery performance or testing before publication.

If you find something inaccurate, tell me. Corrections are made on the page with the date updated, not quietly deleted. You can reach me at haoran@tianshuotoy.com.

Where the orders are actually made

I work from the plant, not from a trading office. Shantou Tianshuo Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2018 in Chenghai District, Shantou — the toy-making cluster on China's southern coast where mould makers, injection shops, electronics suppliers and packaging printers all sit within a short drive of one another. Sourcing moulds, electronics and packaging inside one district is how Chenghai became China's toy capital, and how we keep our own lead times short.

What we run ourselves:

  • A 10,000 m² main plant covering R&D, mould-making, injection moulding, assembly, quality control, the showroom and container loading.
  • Two further production sites in Chenghai, running the quadruped robot dog and the 8-wheel stunt robot dog lines.
  • A team of 200+ across production, engineering and quality control.

We build five standard export models — TQR-02, TQR-03M, TQR-05AI, TQR-16 and TQR-18M — alongside OEM/ODM programmes. Standard models ship in about 30 days for orders up to 10,000 pcs, or 30–35 days in peak season, and samples take 5–7 days. Terms are EXW Shantou, with DDP available as an option. Trial orders and mixed models are welcome.

If you would rather see it than read about it, we can walk the floor with you over a live video call on any working day: the showroom, both assembly lines and the loading bay, unedited and in real time.

How to verify what I say

Plenty of suppliers describe themselves as a factory. Here is how you can check it yourself, without taking my word for any of it:

  • Report numbers. Every certificate we hold carries its own reference number. Ask me for the PDF, then check the number with the issuing laboratory yourself: CPC under CPSC Lab ID 1566; ASTM F963-23 (CCI250900353EN-6); EN 71 parts 1–3 (CCI250900353EN-1); RoHS 2.0 (CCI250900353EN-7); UN 38.3 for both cell capacities (NCJC250472448, CMC250327015); DGM sea and air cargo appraisals (SEKSZ202512190390, PEKSZ202512195646).
  • A live walk-through. Any working day, on camera, in real time — not edited footage.
  • Samples before commitment. 5–7 days for a standard model, so you can test the gait, the battery and the packaging yourself before you commit to anything larger.

None of the above asks you to believe me. Each one is something you can run yourself: a report number you can look up, a factory you can watch working, and a sample you can test.

Where to start

If you are evaluating us as a supplier, the two most useful pages are the certifications and compliance set and the product range. If you already have a specification or a target price point, send it over and I will come back with the configuration that fits.
